Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Key Responsibilities:

1. PR and Media Management:
   • Develop and implement effective PR strategies to enhance the organization’s image and visibility.
   • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media representatives and outlets.
   • Plan and coordinate media coverage for events, projects, and initiatives.
2. Content Development:
   • Create compelling content for press releases, articles, and other PR materials.
   • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent messaging across platforms.
3. Digital Marketing:
   • Manage the organization’s social media accounts and develop engaging content.
   • Implement digital marketing campaigns to promote awareness and engagement.
   • Monitor and analyze digital marketing metrics to optimize performance.
4. Event Coordination:
   • Plan and execute events to promote the organization’s mission and activities.
   • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and ensure successful event outcomes.
5. Partnership Building:
   • Identify and build partnerships with key stakeholders, influencers, and organizations.
   • Collaborate with internal teams to leverage partnerships for mutual benefit.
6. Brand Management:
   • Ensure consistent branding across all communication channels.
   • Develop and implement strategies to enhance brand awareness and recognition.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in PR, media relations, and digital marketing.
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing tools.
• Event planning and coordination experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Familiarity with community development initiatives is an advantage.
