Good Neighbors, an international humanitarian development NGO, is seeking qualified individuals to join our dedicated team in Tanzania. Established in Korea in 1991 and officially in Tanzania in 2005, Good Neighbors is committed to creating a world without hunger and fostering harmonious communities, emphasizing the protection of children’s rights and sustainable community development through empowerment, leadership, and ownership.
Position: M&E Officer
Reports to: Project Manager, Technical Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in planning, implementation, and reporting the progress of KOICA project activities.
- Prepare and share weekly KOICA operating reports and submit them to the senior officer.
- Prepare Annual/Bi-annual reports for KOICA project and activities execution.
- Ensure programs align with KOICA and Government policies and guidelines.
- Participate in project stakeholders’ meetings, share project activities implementation progress reports, and submit them to the supervisor in a timely manner.
- Ensure high-quality monitoring, supervision, and evaluation of KOICA project, aligning with donor policy and national guidelines.
- Provide technical support for the implementation and monitoring of operational research/surveys related to the KOICA project.
- Prepare and provide ToR for external resources to conduct research/surveys for the KOICA project.
- Conduct field visits and organize stakeholders’ reflection meetings to discuss monitoring findings.
- Compile regular technical status reports on the KOICA project, documenting best practices and knowledge management.
- Clearly communicate plans, schedules, priorities, and define all technical issues to staff members, management, and other partners, including the government.
- Establish a good networking relationship with multiple stakeholders and advocate for their participation in the project.
Qualifications, Experiences, and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s or degree in M&E or Project Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in community development projects and related fields.
- Relevant work experience in researching and data analyzing.
- Project proposal and report writing skills.
- Strong collaboration, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient computer skills, especially in MS Office.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and schedule work.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work in an international and multi-national environment.
