Position: Front Office Driver

Key Responsibilities:

Provide transportation services to hotel guests, ensuring their safe and comfortable travel to and from designated locations.
Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assist with luggage handling, and offer assistance as needed to enhance the guest experience.
Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel vehicle, including regular cleaning, fueling, and maintenance checks, to ensure its safe and efficient operation.
Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and hotel policies while driving, prioritizing the safety and well-being of passengers and pedestrians.
Plan routes effectively to minimize travel time and ensure timely arrivals and departures for guests.
Assist the Front Office team with additional duties, such as delivering packages, running errands, or providing support during busy periods.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing the hotel brand positively to guests and the public.
Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and supervisors to address any issues, requests, or special instructions related to transportation services.
Provide accurate records of mileage, trips, and fuel expenses, submitting reports to the Front Office Manager or designated supervisor as required.
Attend training sessions and meetings as directed by management to enhance job knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a driver, preferably in a hospitality or customer service environment.
Knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic patterns in Dar es Salaam.
Excellent driving skills and awareness of defensive driving techniques.
Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
