OnaStories Group is a storytelling and technology company based in Dar es Salaam. We help organizations and individuals find and tell their stories well — to change minds, win hearts or do both! We're also building the AI and XR ecosystems in Tanzania, particularly where they intersect with storytelling. We're looking for two Executive Personal Assistants to support our Director team. One role will primarily support our Strategy-focused Director, while the other role will primarily support our Operations-focused Director.

As our Executive Personal Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies such as AI, XR and digital storytelling production. We're looking for candidates who are curious, phenomenal learners, and thrive in a playful and collaborative work environment.

We're also seeking individuals who have a keen ability to distinguish between signal and noise, help prioritize competing demands, and interface with clients and partners at a world-class level. You'll learn all this working alongside our directors, so the primary skill we're sifting for is your ability to learn and, in turn, teach.

Finally, you'll play a critical role in project management by synthesizing meeting notes and identifying actionable next steps for the team to follow up on. This involves reviewing and extracting key information from meeting discussions, so the team can effectively collaborate and move forward on projects.

Your efforts will directly contribute to our team's ability to produce high-quality digital stories and build emerging media tech ecosystems in Tanzania. Responsibilities:

Manage email, schedule appointments, and organize documents for the Director
Create presentations, reports, and other documents as needed
Take detailed and accurate notes during meetings and distribute them to relevant parties
Identify the most important information in a meeting or document, distinguish between signal and noise and identify action points
Follow up on action points identified in notes and meetings
Assist with budget tracking, expense reports, and project management tasks
Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations
Conduct research and gather information as needed
Manage social media platforms, create content, and analyze engagement data
Collaborate with our team to produce world-class digital storytelling content and build emerging media tech ecosystems

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent note taking system
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Experience in social media content creation
