Job Title: Zone Systems Administrator

Job Overview: As a Zone Systems Administrator at NMB Bank, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance, monitoring, and support of NMB's working tools at both Head Office and branches within the Central Zone. Your primary goal will be to ensure the availability, recoverability, security, and continuous improvement of IT systems to meet and exceed business and customer expectations.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Daily Maintenance and Support:

    • Perform maintenance of branch user working tools, electric power systems, self-service terminals, and other related equipment.
    • Conduct daily morning checks for all branches within the zone and resolve/escalate any issues that require maintenance.
    • Update and maintain the Asset Management database, inventory, and disposal process.
    • Resolve and close support incidents and problems logged into the Service Manager from branches/head office.
    • Attend planned maintenance activities and supervise vendors to ensure quality and timely completion of work.
  2. Training and Support:

    • Provide basic troubleshooting training to Branch IT Champions.
    • Escalate and follow up with second and third-level support for unresolved IT systems incidents.
    • Ensure all PCs and laptops are protected with the latest security controls.
  3. Planning and Management:

    • Plan and carry out all duties in the area in a cost-effective manner.
    • Prepare and submit lists of obsolete equipment for donation quarterly.
    • Install and configure ATMs and monitor their performance and uptime.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Technical knowledge of banking IT systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing banking service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems and computer peripherals.
  • Commitment to integrity, accountability, and transparency.
  • IT systems troubleshooting skills.
  • ICT Service Management skills (ITIL) and networking skills (CCNA) are advantageous.
  • Ability to prioritize work, work under pressure, and work with minimum supervision.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in ICT engineering discipline.
  • Certification in IT systems (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft) is advantageous.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in banking IT systems support.
