Program: Business Empowerment (BE) Job Prep Program
Location: ACTT offices, CCM Mkoa Building, Moshi Town Kilimanjaro
Duration: April 15, 2024 – June 14, 2024
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday (Training): 9:30 am – 3:30 pm
- Saturdays (Review day): 9:30 am – 12:00 pm
Overview: Make A Difference Now (MAD) and Affordable Computers and Technology for Tanzania (ACTT) have partnered to offer a Business Empowerment (BE) Job Prep Program in Moshi, Tanzania. This program aims to provide training for youth and women with a strong computer knowledge base, preparing them for employment opportunities. The program operates under the belief that everyone deserves a chance to succeed.
Program Features:
- Training focused on how to market oneself or a business idea
- Development of a modern CV and Cover Letter
- Job Interview Skills training
- Guidance on job application procedures and job search platforms
- Training in marketing and storytelling techniques
- Opportunity to attend a job fair
- Post-workshop support
Scholarships: Scholarships are available for individuals with financial needs who are accepted into the program.
