Job Overview:

Ongeza Agrovet is seeking a Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of retail shops selling agricultural inputs and fast-moving solar products. The Retail Manager will be responsible for supervising retail staff, developing sales strategies, monitoring sales performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise retail shops and ensure smooth operations.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Plan and coordinate all sales activities to meet monthly targets.
• Monitor sales team performance and provide reports.
• Conduct monthly monitoring and auditing of products and stock levels.
• Cross-check shop accounts to ensure timely deposit of sales cash.
• Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
• Follow up on customer payments for credit purchases.
• Prepare monthly sales reports and submit them to the Director.
• Ensure proper use and management of company assets.
• Utilize sales software app as a monitoring tool for daily market activities.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and company policies and procedures.
• Implement security measures to prevent theft and losses.
• Coach and motivate sales staff to achieve peak performance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in sales.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively.
• Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
• Creative decision-making abilities.
