What you’ll do:

  • Assist in leading the Health and Welfare team, fostering effective collaboration among school nurses, officers, and assistants.
  • Monitor and maintain records of student health cases, ensuring prompt communication of significant cases to relevant stakeholders.
  • Plan and oversee hospital visits, student dietary requirements, and First Aid training for staff.
  • Coordinate annual health checks, managing logistics and follow-ups.
  • Provide compassionate support and organize welfare initiatives for students.
  • Compile and submit monthly health and welfare reports.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management and leadership, preferably in education or community development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
  • Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and mentor colleagues effectively.
