Assistant Team Lead – Health and Welfare at School of St Jude

What you’ll do:

Assist in leading the Health and Welfare team, fostering effective collaboration among school nurses, officers, and assistants.
Monitor and maintain records of student health cases, ensuring prompt communication of significant cases to relevant stakeholders.
Plan and oversee hospital visits, student dietary requirements, and First Aid training for staff.
Coordinate annual health checks, managing logistics and follow-ups.
Provide compassionate support and organize welfare initiatives for students.
Compile and submit monthly health and welfare reports.

What we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in project management and leadership, preferably in education or community development.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and mentor colleagues effectively.
