Position: 3 Drivers II

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Overview:

Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC) is inviting dynamic, proactive, and experienced individuals to fill 3 vacant positions of Drivers II. As a designated public postal operator, TPC is committed to providing accessible, affordable, and reliable postal services across Tanzania.

Entry Qualifications:

  • Holder of Form IV Certificate and a Class “C1 or E” Driving License.
  • Must have attended Basic Driving Course offered by VETA or any recognized institution.
  • Driving experience of at least one (1) year without causing accidents.
  • Possession of Trade Test Grade II/Level II in Motor Vehicle Maintenance/Mechanics is an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive Cooperation vehicles for administration purposes.
  • Maintain log-books for each and every trip.
  • Responsible for the safekeeping of the vehicle and tools entrusted.
  • Maintain driver’s required discipline.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and tools.
  • Promptly report any defects or problems detected in the vehicle.
  • Attend to minor repairs and report.
  • Adhere to maintenance schedules.
  • Perform other duties related to the field as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Salary Scale: TPCSS 2

Age Limit: Not more than thirty-five years (35)
