Tanzania Commercial Bank (TCB) is recruiting for the position of Operations Auditors II (2 Positions) to join the Directorate of Internal Audit. Position Objective: The Operations Auditor is responsible for providing independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of internal control and risk management processes. They play a crucial role in identifying and assessing risks, facilitating effective risk management, and assisting management in their responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessments of Core Banking System, Peripheral Applications, Databases, Networks, IT Projects, Electronic Channels, and Digital products and Services to develop a risk-based audit plan.
• Prepare audit work programs for business units, covering areas such as IT Governance, Business Continuity Management, IT Security, Core Banking System, Peripheral Applications, Databases, Networks, IT Projects, Electronic Channels, Digital Products, and Services.
• Extract data from various banking systems for analysis and generate insights for management.
• Execute audit programs related to Electronic Channels, Digital Products and Services, IT Support, Hardware, Network Security, Infrastructure, Core Banking System, and Databases.
• Analyze data from various banking systems, report exceptions, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Review financial statements on a monthly basis.
• Conduct follow-ups on recommendations from internal and external audits.
• Develop and document scripts for data extraction and revenue leakages detection.
• Maintain the Audit Management System and support IT Infrastructure of the Audit Directorate.
• Review statutory deductions from the Payroll System on a monthly basis.
• Review regulatory returns on a quarterly basis.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Experience and Knowledge Required: Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Electronic Engineering, Actuarial Science, Data Science, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
• Knowledge in the use of accounting packages/audit command language will be an added advantage.
