On behalf of our reputable client, HR World Ltd is seeking an IT Business Partner responsible for ensuring that the operations of the IT Department align with the business objectives of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage the company or business unit IT portfolio.
2. Prepare the IT strategy in line with business plans and the preparation of the department’s annual budgets.
3. Act as an ambassador between the IT Department and other business Departments, focusing on the best user experience.
4. Analyze the business requirements of all departments in conjunction with local business teams to determine their ERP & technology needs, liaising with Group IT to understand the ecosystem.
5. Manage and coordinate various IT projects and undertake application change request testing and product testing.
6. Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software, manage & optimize the entire lifecycle of IT assets.
7. Inspect the use of technological equipment and local software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
8. Identify the need for upgrades, configurations, or new systems and execute them in line with business needs.
9. Develop and control the IT budget and report on expenditure.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, or any other related field.
• IT-related certification such as (CCNA, ITIL).
• Registration with the Computer Society of Tanzania is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 10 years, with at least 3 years working in a manufacturing setup or related field.
• At least five years in a senior role in a busy and complex IT environment.
• Manufacturing Business process & specifically SAP S4HANA ERP understanding.
