HR World Limited, on behalf of our reputable client, is seeking a Litigation Manager responsible for monitoring and advising the company on legal matters, commercial contracts, and agreements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Preparation of Board Presentation papers on matters related to legal and credit.
  2. Drafting Board/Annual General Meeting Minutes and other related minutes regarding legal and credit.
  3. Representation in Management Credit Committees on behalf of the Company Secretary.
  4. Oversight of the security perfection and drafting process handled by external lawyers.
  5. Serving as the Disciplinary Committee Secretary for the Bank.
  6. Reviewing and supervising the disciplinary process from the preparation of the investigation report to finality.
  7. Advising the Corporate Department on security perfection activities.
  8. Guiding Management on Litigation Matters and ensuring adherence to relevant Acts and Legislation.
  9. Initiating, participating, and providing legal advice in negotiations leading to Out-Of-Court Settlements.
  10. Providing Legal Advice on NPL Recoveries and Matters Relating to Litigation Filed for and Against the Bank.
  11. Collecting and arranging evidence required for effective litigation for all cases involving the Bank and ensuring case files are properly organized.
  12. Initiating, participating, and providing legal advice in negotiations leading to Out-Of-Court Settlements and reviewing the Out-Of-Court Settlement Agreements or Deeds of Settlement drafted by External Lawyers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law and Advocate of the high court.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Telecom/Banking.
