Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Job Description:

The Head, Compliance & FCC will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing Compliance Risk Management processes and activities within a Tier 2 Country. The primary objective is to ensure that all operations are conducted in full compliance with regulatory requirements, minimizing the risk of operational losses, fines, penalties, or reputational damage. This role is integral to maintaining the organization’s competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

Minimum First Degree in Audit, Legal, or Risk Management.

Experience Required:

3-4 years of experience in Business Enablement and Compliance.
In-depth understanding of the banking environment, associated products, and specific activities relevant to the role.
Seasoned expert in Compliance with a strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and developments.
Proven track record in leading a functional team of Compliance resources.
