Responsibilities: As a Serviceman at Barrick, you will have the opportunity to:

Conduct pre-start checks and assist the driller with rig checks.
Perform downhole equipment checks throughout the shift.
Maintain trailer stock levels and communicate effectively with the supervisor on stock movements.
Uphold high standards of equipment housekeeping, ensuring cleanliness in all workspaces.
Follow practices to keep the site hazard-free and promptly report any identified hazards.
Actively participate in toolbox meetings, presenting safety issues or violations.
Remain alert to changing shift conditions that compromise safety and report such conditions to the supervisor.
Handle core materials, including removal from the tube, placement in core boxes, and labeling.

Qualification Requirements:

Ordinary secondary school education.
Skills in heavy mobile equipment operation, offsider, and spotting.
Awareness of Mines Health & Safety Act.
Valid driving license with driving ability.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar industry.
Experience in machine operation in any large underground mining operation.
