Position: Business Development Manager

Position Summary: Are you an ambitious and energetic professional? Boomplay is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to expand its clientele. As the front of the company, you will apply effective sales strategies to drive sustainable financial growth through increased sales and strong client relationships.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Digital ad sales responsibility, aiming to exceed sales quotas.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with advertisers, ad agencies, and major partners.
  • Explore innovative channel business models for long-term advantages.
  • Identify key trends in the digital advertising industry and adjust advertising development strategies accordingly.
  • Collect market data as per HQ’s directions.
  • Seek sponsors and advertisers for Boomplay music offline events.
  • Follow up on new business opportunities in the music industry.
  • Identify sales leads, pitch services to old and new clients.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver presentations to clients.
  • Maintain good working relationships with clients.
  • Communicate product developments to prospective clients.
  • Set organizational goals and develop plans for business and revenue growth.
  • Research, plan, and implement new target market initiatives.
  • Attend conferences, seminars, and industry events.
  • Set goals for the business development team and develop strategies to meet them.
  • Pursue leads and move them through the sales circle.
  • Understand client needs and respond effectively with plans to meet those needs.
  • Carry out sales forecasts and analysis monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Encourage new and existing clients by creating and improving proposals.
  • Develop and sustain solid relationships with stakeholders and customers.
  • Analyze customer feedback data to determine satisfaction with company products and services.
  • Provide insight into product development and competitive positioning.
  • Analyze financial data and develop effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits.
  • Meet with potential investors to present company offerings and negotiate business deals.
  • Improve business functionality to align with core objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of previous experience in ad agency, business-to-business digital ad sales, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or marketing.
  • Master’s degree is an added advantage.

Job Requirements:

  • Comprehensive marketing and influencers marketing knowledge are added value.
  • Passion for music and a strong passion for a sales job.
  • Demonstrate self-confidence, love networking, and enjoy presenting and public speaking.
