Ensure completion of all activities related to medical data entry and data management into the mission database. Supervise, organise and plan the activity of Data Entry officers/operators, as well as identify their training needs in order to provide a good service support and reliability of the data collected.
Title: SUPERVISOR MEDICAL DATA ENTRY

MAIN PURPOSE
Implementing and supervising medical data entry activities in collaboration with MOH staff in selected health facilities, ensuring data quality, confidentiality, and adherence to protocols.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assess training needs of the data team and prepare training to improve the quality of data.
- Collaborate with MOH data officer to ensure availability and accuracy of data registered in facilities.
- Ensure data processes are well-respected, from registration to entry in DHIS, reporting any irregularities.
- Maintain and update data tools as per DHIS and project objectives.
Main responsibilities:
- Supervise, organize, and plan the activity of Data Entry officers, ensuring reliable records of medical activity and identifying their training needs.
- Ensure collation and entry of all data identified by project managers into the appropriate data management system, ensuring data quality.
- Perform quality control of data officers’ performance regularly.
- Ensure proper use of software used for recording (i.e., Fuchia, Epi Info, etc.).
- Ensure accuracy of medical data entered into the mission’s database, according to MSF protocols, and carry out regular backups.
- Provide technical support and respond to training needs of data entry officers/operators.
- Provide regular statistical reports for the medical team and inform the superior of any missing information or major changes in data.
- Perform any other related tasks as requested by PMR.
Minimum Educational Qualification:
- Essential: Proven computer literacy, secondary education or qualifications in administration, data entry, or statistics.
- Degree in Information Technology (IT) desirable
Experience:
- Essential: Working experience of at least one year with MSF
Knowledge:
- Essential knowledge of computer use, including processing documents (Word, Excel).
- Desirable knowledge of medical statistics databases
Languages:
- Knowledge of both English and Kiswahili is mandatory.
