Job Overview

Who are we?
MYDIA-Tz is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering young people through Education, Livelihoods, and Health initiatives in Tanzania. Our mission is to enhance and promote good living standards for youth while ensuring their voices are heard across decision-making platforms.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Search for grants, write proposals, and manage fundraising efforts.
- Provide technical support to programs, including monitoring & evaluation and budget oversight.
- Develop and write reports for donors and government agencies.
- Represent MYDIA-Tz at meetings, working groups, and forums.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Qualifications and Competencies/Attributes
- Good project and grants management skills.
- Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Innovative, flexible, and goal-oriented.
- Ability to learn quickly, deliver results, and manage time effectively under pressure.
Required Experience and Education
- University degree in Project Management, Economics, Education, Public Health, or related fields.
- Proven track record of managing projects and fundraising.
- At least two years of previous volunteer experience in a similar position, preferably with NGOs.
- Experience using email and online meeting platforms.
Office Offer
- This is a volunteer role, working part-time (5 hours per day).
- MYDIA-Tz will provide office space with a computer and internet connection, along with monthly transport & communication allowance.
