REPORTING TO: Finance Manager

ACCOUNTANT JOB SUMMARY
Hildis is in search of a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, a sharp eye for accuracy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. ACCOUNTANT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with established policies and procedures.
Prepare financial statements, budgets, and various financial reports.
Perform reconciliations of bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial records.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making.
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.

ACCOUNTANT REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
