About Geita Gold Mining Ltd: Geita Gold Mining Ltd (GGML) is Tanzania’s leading gold producer and a subsidiary of AngloGold Ashanti. They are currently inviting applications for the position of Supervisor – HME Field Services.
Job Purpose: The Supervisor – HME Field Services will be responsible for Mining Equipments’ Maintenance, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and breakdown work. The role involves effective mechanical inspection, minimizing breakdowns, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring timely execution of assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
- Advanced Diploma or Full Technician Certificate in Mechanical or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in the Mining Industry.
- Valid Tanzania driving license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical inspection during preventive and routine daily inspections.
- Attending equipment breakdowns in the field.
- Minimizing breakdowns and maximizing planned works.
- Maintaining safety standards.
- Working under minimal supervision and contributing to planning details.
