As part of the organization’s expansion, CCBRT is seeking dynamic and experienced Resource Mobilisation Officers to lead research, identify new partners and donors, and explore opportunities for collaboration.

Role:

As a Resource Mobilisation Officer at CCBRT, you will:

  1. Proposal Development:
    • Prepare proposals, concepts, Expressions of Interest, and responses to donor calls.
    • Collaborate with the team to develop impactful content showcasing CCBRT’s program impact for expanded work locally and globally.
  2. Stakeholder Coordination:
    • Coordinate and collaborate with local and global communications to keep stakeholders informed about CCBRT’s programs and impact.
  3. Competitive Landscape Evaluation:
    • Stay current on the competitive landscape and donor intelligence at the country level for CCBRT’s sectoral interests.
    • Evaluate strengths, weaknesses, and complementarities of organizations working in the region.
  4. Knowledge Management:
    • Stay abreast of CCBRT programs and achievements.
    • Provide advice to Resource Mobilisation Experts on engagement with donors and potential/existing partner representatives.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree in Development Studies, International Relations, Communication, or related field.
  • Training in resources mobilization is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in program development or a related field.
  • Experience in collaboration with international donors and funding agencies.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Swahili.
  • Proven track record in proposal writing and grant management (ranging $1M and above).
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical and research skills for bridging organizational needs with opportunities.
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinker capable of delivering quality work on time.
