Position: Project Officer As a Project Officer at Anza Tanzania, you will play a key role in managing and implementing various projects aimed at supporting entrepreneurs and driving social impact. You will work closely with the Anza Tanzania team, partners, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project activities, including planning, implementation, and monitoring.
- Provide support to entrepreneurs participating in Anza Tanzania programs, including mentoring and capacity building.
- Develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, including donors, government agencies, and community organizations.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform project design and decision-making.
- Prepare project reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
- Support fundraising efforts by contributing to grant proposals and donor communications.
- Contribute to the overall strategy and direction of Anza Tanzania’s programs and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, development studies, social sciences).
- Minimum of two years of experience in project management or related roles.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of entrepreneurship, social enterprise, and development issues in Tanzania is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and Swahili, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
