Position Overview: As a Principal ICT Officer I at TCB, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the information security management system and cybersecurity framework are robust. Reporting directly to the Director of Information and Communication Technology, you will be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information systems to provide seamless services to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage comprehensive information security programs aligned with business strategies.
• Maintain an up-to-date document framework for information security policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Safeguard confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets owned or controlled by the bank.
• Effectively communicate information security policies and awareness programs to department managers and staff.
• Develop and manage an information security budget, monitoring spending within the financial year.
• Research emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, advising management on appropriate countermeasures.
• Establish metrics and reporting frameworks to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the information security management program.
• Create a framework for roles and responsibilities related to information ownership, classification, accountability, and protection of information assets.
• Ensure compliance of all ICT sections for the effective implementation of security controls, cyber resilience, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Report on the performance of the Information Security Management System (ISMS), non-conformities, and improvement activities.
• Oversee Information Security Risk assessment and Risk Treatment Plan, conducting updates as agreed.
• Coordinate all internal and external ICT audit engagements, following up on audit findings with stakeholders.
• Advise Senior Management on Cyber and Information Security Management issues.
• Ensure ISMS conforms to ISO 27001 Standard and adopt best practices in other standards such as ITIL, COBIT, CIS, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and PCI-DSS.
• Determine the information security approach and operating model in consultation with stakeholders.
• Lead the information security team, championing the achievement of objectives and targets.
• Coordinate and manage bank-wide Business Continuity Plans, including Business Impact Analysis and Risk Assessments.
• Establish and maintain a Business Continuity Management Program.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or Digital Forensic.
• 10 years’ experience in the relevant field.
• Possession of ICT-related professional certifications will be an added advantage.
