Job Opportunity: Media Monitoring Assistant

Responsibilities:

1. Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on various forms of media, encompassing traditional and digital platforms.
2. Analyzing media content to identify key themes, sentiment, and emerging trends.
3. Providing regular updates on competitor activities and industry trends.
4. Collaborating closely with public relations, marketing, and communications teams to ensure consistency in messaging and address concerns arising from media coverage.
5. Staying updated on the latest media monitoring tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

1. Fluent in English and Kiswahili languages with experience in translation.
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Public Relations, or a related field.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Package.
4. The ability to translate complex technical language and ideas into language easily comprehensible for external engagement.
5. At least two years of work experience in communication roles.
6. Strong editing and proofreading skills.
7. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all staff and other key partners.
8. Photographic and video skills are preferred.
