Job Summary:
SELF Microfinance Fund is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of ICT Officer II (Database Administrator) II. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing computer hardware, network functionality, and ensuring the efficient operation of ICT systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manage the maintenance of computer hardware and network functionality, resolving hardware malfunctions and technical problems.
2. Ensure proper upgrading of Software Programs in collaboration with the Software Developer, meeting the standards and needs of the organization.
3. Provide services for installation and training for other software users.
4. Consult with computer users to agree on key services and service levels to enhance computer and related equipment utilization.
5. Ensure routine maintenance of computer hardware, software, and communication infrastructure.
6. Maintain the Local Area Network (LAN) in good running condition, linking all users, including branches, to the network.
7. Schedule and implement upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems.
8. Ensure the smooth running of all ICT systems, including anti-virus software, print services, and email provision.
9. Adhere to software licensing laws.
10. Analyze and recommend internal ICT system development.
11. Train SELF MF staff on the use and maintenance of the internet and other communication devices.
12. Conduct programming activities, including system designing and documentation of procedures.
13. Prepare periodic progress reports on ICT.
14. Administer Local and Wide Areas Network (LAN/WAN).
15. Ensure that the computer architecture in the Company is well planned and has the capacity to provide NetWare services.
16. Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.

Qualification and Experience:

• Holders of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System, Computer Engineering, System Engineering, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
