Job Summary:
SELF Microfinance Fund is seeking applications for the role of Compliance Officer II. The Fund is looking for a qualified individual to develop and implement risk management policies, review compliance procedures, and ensure adherence to legal requirements and reporting standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepare a risk management policy for the Fund, defining the risk appetite.
2. Review the Risk and Compliance Policy and Procedural Manual to ensure comprehensive coverage of operational aspects.
3. Implement annual plans derived from the strategic plan and ensure adherence to rules and guidelines.
4. Prepare periodic reports for the Audit Committee and senior management to update on risk and compliance services.
5. Provide training to all employees on matters related to risk and compliance services.
6. Monitor the performance of Compliance and Risk Services Programs, taking steps to enhance effectiveness.
7. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and reporting standards of Regulatory Bodies.
8. Collaborate with other departments to identify existing or potential risk areas for preventive measures, mitigation, and correction.
9. Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.

Qualification and Experience:

• Holders of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Sciences, Business Administration majoring in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.

Remuneration: SMF SS 4
