Job Title: IT & Data Analytics Expert

The Opportunity: We seek a talented IT & Data Analytics Expert to deliver IT audit and advisory services. This role involves implementing Alteryx for data analytics and reporting capabilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and streamlining processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Business Information Systems, Business Intelligence & Data Analytics (or related field)
• Alteryx Designer and Server certification
• CISA/CISM/CRISC/CISSP or a related information system audit or data analytics certification (an added advantage)

Skills and Competencies:

• Fast learner with enthusiasm for new challenges
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Integrity, reliability, and commitment to meeting deadlines
• Fluency in English with excellent research and report-writing skills
• Proficient in IT, including ITGC testing, data analytics, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Strong understanding of IT Audit, data analytics, scripting, and data analysis tools (Alteryx, IDEA, or ACL)
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL
• Experience in Continuous Auditing and Monitoring, Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools
• Experience in process-oriented financial and commercial audits (an added advantage)

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Alteryx workflows for efficient data integration and transformation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Alteryx workflows
• Implement best practices for data governance and quality assurance
• Identify automation opportunities using Alteryx to streamline processes
• Provide training to staff on enhancing efficiency through automation
• Stay updated on the latest Alteryx features and updates
• Foster collaboration with audit and consulting teams
• Review and assess documentation related to ITGC
• Identify and assess IT risks impacting financial reporting
• Plan and deliver IT Audits using a risk-based approach
• Execute testing procedures related to access controls, change management, and system development
• Provide insights and recommendations for enhancing ITGC processes and controls
• Stay informed about changes in relevant regulations and standards impacting ITGC
• Keep abreast of the latest technology trends and provide input to mitigate emerging threats

• Cultivate working relationships with clients
• Design efficient and scalable workflows meeting precise business requirements
