Job Description: Hostess

We are currently seeking dynamic and self-motivated professionals in the Food and Beverage industry who are eager to advance their careers. If you have a passion for providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere, we invite you to apply for the position of Hostess.

Responsibilities:

  1. Offer consistently professional, friendly, warm, and engaging service to all guests.
  2. Welcome guests to the assigned outlet, receive them, and conduct them to tables, ensuring they are attended to and available as a point of contact.
  3. Handle outlet reservations, manage the reservation book, and answer the telephone in an impeccable manner.
  4. Set up the outlet before business hours in coordination with the service team.
  5. Coordinate with the service team to make necessary arrangements according to the floor plan for reservations or blocking off reserved tables.
  6. Observe the cleanliness and maintenance of the outlet and the entrance area.
  7. Ensure the well-being of all guests by maintaining close, friendly, yet discreet contact.
  8. Be knowledgeable about all menus and ongoing promotions in the outlet to recommend to guests when requested.
  9. Contribute to setting up the outlet’s database.
  10. Reassure guests’ satisfaction upon their departure.
  11. Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner, prioritizing the health and safety of guests and employees, as well as environmental conservation.
  12. Comply with the hotel’s environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.

Skills:

  1. Degree in hospitality preferred.
  2. Previous experience in the Food and Beverage Department within a hotel.
  3. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; knowledge in an additional language is a plus.
  4. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Computer literate, with previous experience using Opera system as an advantage.
