1.0 INTRODUCTION

JUMLA AFRICA operates 16 warehouses across 15 regions in Tanzania, serving over 770 stockists. As the most trusted distributor, we lead in the supply of agricultural and veterinary products.

We are currently operational in: Arusha, Singida, Tabora, Manyara, Morogoro, Iringa, Simiyu, Tanga, Dodoma, Mara, Ruvuma, Kigoma, Songwe, Njombe, and Rukwa.

2.0 POSITION: AGROCHEMICAL PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER/CONSULTANT (1 POST)

3.0 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform product analysis on agricultural pesticides (including insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, and nematicides) and synthetic fertilizers.
• Conduct scientific product need assessment.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturers.
• Undertake quality controls.
• Work with regulators on the importation of Agrochemicals.
• Conduct pesticide inspections on dealers and applicators, providing accurate and detailed reports to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Inspect and verify agricultural chemical imports.
• Promote, negotiate, and suggest new products to improve the market.
• Contribute to new product development.

4.0 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree, preferably in Agrochemical engineering or a related program from a recognized institute.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Agrichemical industry.

5.0 LOCATION: ARUSHA, TANZANIA

6.0 DURATION: (FULL TIME or PART-TIME)
