CVM is dedicated to building the dignity of people, with a focus on women, sanitation, PLWHAs, and other disadvantaged groups. The organization operates in Tanzania and is committed to ensuring sustainable projects in line with Tanzanian Government regulations.
Major Duties:
- Supervise Finance, Admin Office, and support staff.
- Oversee all Local Agreements in Tanzania and maintain documentation in the Bagamoyo Office.
- Participate in financial planning for each program with Project Coordinators.
- Prepare financial reports monthly, quarterly, annually, and biannually for all programs.
- Analyze budget and expenditure monthly, quarterly, and annually; make cost-benefit analyses and recommendations.
- Prepare financial reports for donors and partners as needed.
- Develop financial guidelines/manuals when required.
- Monitor bank and cash transactions, ensuring timely updates.
- Facilitate timely cash transfers to project offices and request punctual transfers from CVM Italy.
- Manage Human Resource responsibilities, including contract renewals and performance evaluations.
- Ensure procurement procedures are followed in project offices.
- Coordinate and follow up on transportation procedures for materials.
- Oversee stock and equipment management.
- Maintain an inventory tracking system and conduct periodic reviews.
- Coordinate vehicle management, maintenance programs, and insurance.
- Prepare financial documents for auditing and facilitate the audit process.
- Maintain proper communication channels between offices and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure Organization resources are utilized in line with its spirit.
- Build effective relations with local partners and authorities.
- Collect documents and submit VISA applications for expatriate staff.
- Ensure compliance with TRA requirements and manage CVM profile on TRA portal.
- Responsible for updating WCF and NSSF portals.
- Ensure CVM volunteer houses meet safety requirements and are well-equipped.
- Manage office inventories for Bagamoyo and Morogoro project offices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related field.
- Proven competence in computer applications, especially Excel, pivot tables, and Google Drive.
- Knowledge and experience with Peachtree and related accounting systems is an added advantage.
- Experience in payroll management, tax returns through E-filing system, and fuel prepaid cards.
