About ComunitĂ  Volontari per il Mondo (CVM):
CVM is dedicated to building the dignity of people, with a focus on women, sanitation, PLWHAs, and other disadvantaged groups. The organization operates in Tanzania and is committed to ensuring sustainable projects in line with Tanzanian Government regulations.

Major Duties:

  1. Supervise Finance, Admin Office, and support staff.
  2. Oversee all Local Agreements in Tanzania and maintain documentation in the Bagamoyo Office.
  3. Participate in financial planning for each program with Project Coordinators.
  4. Prepare financial reports monthly, quarterly, annually, and biannually for all programs.
  5. Analyze budget and expenditure monthly, quarterly, and annually; make cost-benefit analyses and recommendations.
  6. Prepare financial reports for donors and partners as needed.
  7. Develop financial guidelines/manuals when required.
  8. Monitor bank and cash transactions, ensuring timely updates.
  9. Facilitate timely cash transfers to project offices and request punctual transfers from CVM Italy.
  10. Manage Human Resource responsibilities, including contract renewals and performance evaluations.
  11. Ensure procurement procedures are followed in project offices.
  12. Coordinate and follow up on transportation procedures for materials.
  13. Oversee stock and equipment management.
  14. Maintain an inventory tracking system and conduct periodic reviews.
  15. Coordinate vehicle management, maintenance programs, and insurance.
  16. Prepare financial documents for auditing and facilitate the audit process.
  17. Maintain proper communication channels between offices and relevant stakeholders.
  18. Ensure Organization resources are utilized in line with its spirit.
  19. Build effective relations with local partners and authorities.
  20. Collect documents and submit VISA applications for expatriate staff.
  21. Ensure compliance with TRA requirements and manage CVM profile on TRA portal.
  22. Responsible for updating WCF and NSSF portals.
  23. Ensure CVM volunteer houses meet safety requirements and are well-equipped.
  24. Manage office inventories for Bagamoyo and Morogoro project offices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related field.
  • Proven competence in computer applications, especially Excel, pivot tables, and Google Drive.
  • Knowledge and experience with Peachtree and related accounting systems is an added advantage.
  • Experience in payroll management, tax returns through E-filing system, and fuel prepaid cards.
