Job Description

Coca-Cola Kwanza Ltd invites dynamic individuals to join our Manufacturing team. We seek skilled professionals with a background in food science technology for the role of Quality Controller based in Mbeya. The selected candidate will report directly to the SHEQ Manager-Mbeya.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Develop a strategic understanding of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ)
2. Drive continuous quality improvement in the Manufacturing process
3. Manage and oversee laboratory operations
4. Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards
5. Compliance with quality systems, standards, and practices
6. Interpret and apply Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements in the laboratory
7. Adhere to the requirements of the Quality Management System (QMS), Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and work instructions
8. Conduct Statistical Process Control (SPC) studies in accordance with established procedures
9. Align quality control processes with supply chain principles and work practices

Skills, Experience & Education

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A minimum of a degree in Food Science Technology
• At least 2 years of practical and relevant experience, preferably in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Flexibility as a team player and team builder
• Assertiveness and persuasiveness
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated high integrity
