Overview:

Join the vibrant team at TIGO – Tanzania, the country’s fastest-growing telecom company, as an MFS Support Engineer. This role requires a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, electronics, computer engineering or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in Mobile Financial Services or VAS area. A Certified Project Management qualification is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the high level of quality and availability of Tigo Pesa platforms and products, aiming for 99.9% service availability to both internal and external customers.
2. Re-classify problems or incidents into their respective levels and initiate change requests for solutions, whether internal or from vendors.
3. Align all MFS nodes, products, and associated processes with the compliance framework.
