The Feed the Future Tanzania Kilimo Tija Project is a crucial component of the U.S. Government’s Global Food Security Strategy (GFSS), aimed at advancing global food security, resilience, and nutrition. The Zone of Influence (ZOI) includes Morogoro, Iringa, Mbeya, Njombe, and Zanzibar. Key market sheds outside the ZOI, such as Dar es Salaam, Songwe, and Arusha, are included due to their significant transport and market facilities.
