The Chicken Company is a family owned business that provides locally raised fresh organic eggs, chicken and poultry feed for the East African market. We have farms in Mkuranga, Tanzania and are committed to producing the best poultry products in the market raised in the most ethical standards and slaughtered using halal guidelines.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. As a Sales Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for customers and responsible for generating new sales leads. Your day to day duties will include but not limited to: - Provide excellent customer service to current and potential clients while promoting our products - Build strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction - Identify and generate new sales leads - Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals in a professional manner - Negotiate and close sales.
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience with excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Previous experience in customer service and customer acquisition
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of poultry products and the poultry industry is a plus
- Fluency in English and Swahili
