TERMS OF REFERENCES FOR UMATI ASSET VALUATION 2023

About UMATI:

Chama cha Uzazi na Malezi Bora Tanzania (UMATI), established in 1959, is an autonomous voluntary National NGO originally incorporated under CAP 337 in 1973. It is a full Member Association (MA) of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). UMATI works in partnership with government bodies to provide Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) education and services in Tanzania. The association receives funding from various local and international donors.

About the Consultancy:

UMATI seeks a consultant to conduct asset valuation.

Valuation Objectives:

1. Produce a comprehensive report on ownership status of all UMATI and KABIU Landed Properties.
2. Verify, code, and value non-current assets for management purposes.

Scope of Work:

• Identify, verify, code, and value all UMATI assets.
• Establish an updated Fixed Asset Register (FAR) for accounting purposes.
• Prepare a summary table with property details and market values.

Firm Experience and Qualifications:

• Independent valuation firms with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in valuation of various asset types.

Terms of Payment:

• 60% upon signing of the engagement letter and submission of the invoice.
• 40% upon submission of the final asset valuation report.

Expected Deliverables:

• Asset Valuation Report with recommendations.

Contract Award:

The contract will be awarded based on evaluation of technical and financial criteria.
