Job Description:
We are currently seeking dynamic and self-motivated pastry professionals who are eager to advance their careers.
As a Demi Chef De Partie, you will assist the Chef De Cuisine/Chef De Partie in the day-to-day operation, focusing on daily food preparation and assigned duties to maintain the standard and quality set by the Outlet Chef.
General Duties And Responsibilities:
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and maintenance to ensure food safety and quality as per ADFCA and HACCP guidelines.
- Instruct and lead subordinates in food preparation to ensure dishes leaving the kitchen meet portion and presentation standards set by the Outlet Chef.
- Collaborate closely with other key departments to ensure smooth operation.
- Control food costs by practicing inventory management and minimizing wastage and spoilage.
- Attend meetings and daily briefings with team members to ensure efficient communication.
- Guide and train subordinates daily to maintain a highly motivated and efficient working environment.
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety.
- Comply with hotel environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
Skills:
- Degree in hospitality preferred.
- Previous experience in the Front Office Department within a hotel.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Computer literate; experience with Opera is advantageous.
