Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role for an Accountant position located in Arusha. As an Accountant at Dove Africa Safaris, you will be responsible for accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, maintaining and reconciling accounting records, and preparing financial statements and reports. Additionally, you will be expected to closely monitor payments, implement strategies to track revenue and expenses and ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of accounting or finance experience
Excellent proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Aptitude for working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently and as part of a team of accountants
Experience in the tourism or hospitality industry is a plus
CPA certification or progress toward certif
