These Teams Have Qualified for the Round of 16 Knockout Stages

The group stage of the 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations, taking place in 2024 in Côte d’Ivoire, is in full swing. Out of the 24 men’s national football teams competing in the host nation, only 16 will advance to the knockout rounds.

The qualification criteria include the top two teams from each of the six groups and the four best third-placed teams. Unfortunately, the remaining eight teams will conclude their campaigns after the group stage.

As we approach the third and final round of matches in the group stage, let’s take a look at the teams that have already secured their spots in the second round:

1. Cape Verde (Group B) – Qualified on 19 January 2024

2. Senegal (Group C) – Qualified on 19 January 2024
