I. Introduction

Sandvik Mining and Construction Tanzania Limited is inviting expressions of interest from qualified service providers for the provision of an Employees Wellness Programme. This initiative aims to enhance the well-being of Sandvik employees in Mwanza, situated on the edge of Lake Victoria.

III. Mandatory Pre-Qualification Criteria

1. Active Contracts:
   • At least two active employee wellness program contracts from a reputable organization.
2. Experience:
   • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a proven background in providing employee wellness programs to local communities or foreign companies in Tanzania.
3. Certifications:
   • Wellness program certification compliant with all required permits, certifications, and licenses.
4. Regulatory Compliance:
   • Compliance with all national labor laws and regulations.
   • Compliance with local content regulations.
5. Insurance:
   • Possession of appropriate insurance cover.
6. Financial Statements:
   • Submission of financial statements for the previous two financial years.

IV. Scope of Work

The selected service provider will be required to:

1. Provide psychological support, including telephonic 24/7 support and face-to-face counseling.
2. Offer counseling on financial well-being for employees.
3. Conduct coaching sessions on nutrition and lifestyle.
4. Implement healthy and productivity programs related to occupational health.
5. Provide any other services required by the organization, including self and formal referrals.
