Tisha Investments Limited is an oil marketing and logistics company with offices in South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, and Zambia (HQ). We are currently implementing a project in Mozambique for which we urgently need a Logistics Manager to start work immediately.

Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role for a Logistics Manager located in Lusaka. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing, organizing, and managing all aspects of logistics, including shipping, receiving, warehouse management, inventory management, and transportation. The Logistics Manager will monitor performance metrics and implement changes to improve efficiency and productivity. The Logistics Manager will also build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products and services. The person will be stationed in Mozambique for one year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in logistics and supply chain management, including shipping, receiving, warehouse management, inventory management, and transportation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a team
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and logistics software
• Experience with quality management systems and process improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for transporting goods locally and internationally
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Fluency in English is required
• Ability to learn a new language or knowledge of Portuguese will be an added advantage
