🏥 Jemix Healthcare Limited is seeking a dedicated and qualified individual to join their team as an Assistant Pharmaceutical Technician. This role is crucial for providing accurate and timely dispensing services to enhance patient health conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Dispense medication accurately and timely according to medical prescriptions and established protocols.
• Label medications with correct details, provide clear instructions to patients, and ensure understanding for correct usage.
• Adhere to practice policies and procedures, particularly those related to controlled drugs and confidentiality.
• Place accurate and timely orders, monitor stock levels, check expiry dates, and maintain proper storage conditions.
• Keep accurate dispensing records and report regularly to the technical reference.
• Organize and maintain cleanliness in the dispensing area, ensuring proper handling of medicines.
• Conduct Patient Therapeutic Education (PTE) and support chronic patients.
• Address patient complaints related to medicine use or side effects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Certificate/Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science is required.
• Enlisted with the Pharmacy Council of Tanzania.
• Valid practicing license is required.
• Additional qualifications in Inventory Management are an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of good dispensing practices and inventory management.
• Good communication skills.
• Analytical with attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and test results.
