DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

i. To participate in the enforcement of safety cardinal rules policies, plans, and regulations.
ii. To participate in the investigation of incidents to determine safety breaches and recommend accordingly.
iii. To carry out general workplace inspection.
iv. To measure and monitor workplace safety and environmental parameters e.g., heat or cold, noise, light, dust, gases, fumes, aerosol, mist, vapor, radiation, indoor air quality, ventilation, and efficiency.
v. To prepare monthly and annual reports.
vi. To conduct safety training.
vii. To develop individual objectives or targets and all performance standards as part of the individual performance agreement in consultation with the immediate supervisor.
viii. To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Holder of a Bachelor of Science in one of the following fields; Medicine, Public Health, Occupational Nursing, Occupational Medicine, Ergonomics from a recognized institute. Must be computer literate.

REMUNERATION: SMC. 5
