1. Resident Engineer (1 position)
Job Purpose: Responsible for all maintenance works, monitoring and supervision of contractors, and advising management on infrastructure development and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university.
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (added advantage).
- At least five years of practical experience in Civil Engineering with demonstrated capacity to supervise civil works.
- Fully paid-up member of the Engineers Institute of Zambia (EIZ) with a valid Practicing Licence.
2. Lecturer in Public Administration (1 position)
Job Purpose: Teach, conduct research, and carry out academic-related responsibilities in the field of Public Administration.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration with at least a Merit.
- Master’s degree in Public Administration.
- PhD in Public Administration or Human Resource Management (added advantage).
- Proof of research and publications.
- Teaching experience at the university level (added advantage).
3. Lecturer in Social Work (1 Position)
Job Purpose: Teach, conduct research, and perform academic-related responsibilities in the field of Social Work.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five credits, including English Language.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with at least a Merit.
- Master’s degree in Social Work.
- PhD in Social Work or related field (added advantage).
- Proof of research and publications.
- Teaching experience at the university level (added advantage).
4. Lecturer in Sociology (1 Position)
Job Purpose: Teach, conduct research, and carry out academic-related responsibilities in the field of Sociology.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five credits, including English Language.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with at least a Merit.
- Master’s degree in Sociology.
- PhD in Sociology or related field (added advantage).
- Proof of research and publications.
- Teaching experience at the university level (added advantage).
5. Assistant Registrar (1 position)
Job Purpose: Contribute towards the human resource function in the university.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Public Administration.
- Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or Public Administration (added advantage).
- Minimum of two years post-qualifying experience.
- Conversant with Zambian labor laws.
- Good interpersonal and managerial skills.
- Fully paid-up member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management with a valid practicing license.
6. Driver (2 positions)
Job Purpose: Drive, maintain, and ensure the safety of vehicles for the mobility of goods, staff, and students.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 School Certificate with at least a Credit in English Language.
- Valid Class C or CE Driver’s License.
- At least two years of work experience as a driver.
- Sober character and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Willing to work at odd hours.
- Knowledge of basic mechanics and defensive driving (added advantage).
