Job Description

We are currently seeking dynamic and self-motivated financial professionals eager to advance their careers.

As a Cost Controller, your primary responsibility is to maintain a system of internal controls, particularly in areas of Food & Beverage production and consumption. You will also provide advice to management on profitability, risk, and optimal use of hotel resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain a system of internal controls for managing Food & Beverage resources, Operating Equipment, and Fixed Assets in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  2. Ensure the orderly and efficient functioning of internal controls, adherence to hotel policies, and the safeguarding of resources while securing the completeness and accuracy of records.
  3. Manage the closing of books and prepare Cost Control Reports according to hotel standards.
  4. Analyze and interpret financial reports, identify trends, and make recommendations when necessary.
  5. Develop and maintain FBM & Micros databases adequately. Supervise the input and handling of financial/reference data for these systems.
  6. Supervise the Cost Control team, ensuring they are adequately trained, and their performance meets standards.
  7. Review and evaluate the efficiency of Food & Beverage Kitchens by establishing standard costing for menu items, buffets, standard yields, and other necessary means.
  8. Audit Outlet Beverages stock consumption for misuse or deviations from standard costs.
  9. Organize bi-annual Operating Equipment inventory in coordination with relevant departments.
  10. Develop and maintain a manual and computer filing system, ensuring proper naming, cataloging, and restricted access to authorized persons.
  11. Ensure an organized, safe, and clean workspace.
  12. Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner, prioritizing the health and safety of guests and employees, as well as environmental conservation.
  13. Comply with the hotel’s environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
