School Background

Haven of Peace Academy was started in 1994 by a group of missionary families. Since the first 40 primary students, the school has grown to almost 400 in grades K-12. HOPAC gained accreditation with ACSI/MSA in 2012 and is a Cambridge International Centre, offering exams in IGCSE and A Level subjects.

General Responsibilities

Lead in academic advising for all senior school (high school) students and assist students with the university application process to US, Canada, UK, and international universities.

Grade Levels

Working with High School students for university preparations

Qualifications

Minimum of an undergraduate degree

Specific Skills

Experience with academic advising and university placement systems including North America and the UK

Experience working with TCKs preferred

Someone who can relate to students

Understands worldwide systems

Highly self-motivated for time management

Training provided if needed
