• Total Metalloys Industries (Australia) Pty Ltd is a copper cathode production industry and ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal buyer, processing, sub-manufacturing, and supplier company with over a decade of experience in the metal industry. Our head office is based in Sydney, Australia, and our warehousing and processing facility is located in the State of Gujarat, India for Ferrous and Non-Ferrous scrap metal.

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Copper Cathode production Supervisor located in Chingola, Zambia. The Copper Cathode production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day production of copper cathodes and ensuring that quality standards are met. The Supervisor will also be responsible for overseeing equipment maintenance and repairs, compliance with safety regulations, and communicating with other departments as needed.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent, with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering or a related field preferred
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in similar copper cathode processing and production
3. Demonstrated experience in process optimization and improving production efficiency
4. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members
5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze data and make sound decisions
6. Experience with plant maintenance and repair
7. Excellent knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
8. Good computer skills with experience in MS Office
9. Experience in a mining or metals production environment is a plus
