About the job

Purpose of the Position:


Meet DStv For Business revenue and subscriber targets through growing the existing business, developing new sales opportunities, and managing the activities of a sales reps/team assigned to you.

Responsibilities



1 Sales Target


  • Manage all sales and retention activities in the region.
  • Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels.
  • Design plans to meet the sales and subscriber targets in the region.
  • Evaluate clients’ requirements to determine the right price.
  • Understand and effectively communicate the company's value proposition.
  • Establish sales objectives for the sales reps through forecasting and projecting expected subscribers and revenue from their allocated area.
  • Gather market feedback and advise management how we can have an edge over the competition.
  • Develop and execute go to market activities stakeholders.
  • Weekly Visitation to your top profitable customers
  • Consistently updating leads on the sales tools


2 Operational Delivery


  • Ability to identify and solve client issues strategically.
  • Analysing sales and market data to make decision.
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to satisfy client needs.
  • Making sure all customers in your region have received their invoice and pay on time.

3 Development of New markets


Expand business to new territories/districts or neighbor regions e.g., Pemba.

Track market developments, competitor activity and gather market intelligence for future marketing investment.

Develop and allocate sales reps to help with quick new market penetration.


4 Financial Accountability and Oversight


Manage the B2B accounts through sending payment reminders and collection.

Follow ups on outstanding debts.

Liaise with in country Commercial Credit Recovery Officer on a weekly/monthly basis in monitoring the financial status of your area/region.

Head responsibility to exceed business objectives, customer service satisfaction and account profitability.

Attain or exceed objectives for current account revenue and up sell more opportunities to be created from new services and products.


Qualifications



Qualifications Essential:


Bachelor’s Degree


Experience


3 - 4 years in B2B (hotel industry) sales and, or account management

Experience selling into the hotel industry will be an added advantage.
