The incumbent will be an experienced and self-motivated individual with confidence in delivering wallet share growth and good customers retention by building and managing client relationships. The Senior Customer Relation Manager will constantly identify opportunities to grow the customer base and build positive relationships with new clients. You should also be strategic and analytical when finding solutions to problems to ensure maximum client satisfaction

The incumbent will be an experienced, self-motivated and high-energy with experience of solving security issues for clients, designing and implementing pragmatic solutions and engaging with senior management and other key stakeholders to gain their support for such programmes.

This position will work closely with other senior executives and business unit leaders to originate, identify and progress long-term business opportunities. Close cooperation will be needed with the Extractive Services Director, Strategic Clients Group, Sub Saharan Africa and Operations Director, Africa.

The incumbent will be responsible for developing an extensive network of business and political relationships for GardaWorld.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and grow new and existing commercial relationships within major client organisations in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Agriculture, and Construction & Engineering, Transportation, Services.
  • Plan and coordinate the implementation of the revenue growth strategy and the penetration of new markets in addition to markets we currently operate in.
  • Define and implement major opportunity capture plans to maximise the probability of winning
  • Assist in Client Relations Management post-award and where required act as a member of the key account management team.
  • Identify new service needs and opportunities with clients and opportunities to improve our service delivery.
  • Maintain a close eye on competitors, identify and interpret market.
  • Building and maintaining profitable relationships with key customers.
  • Overseeing the relationship with customers handled by your team.
  • Keeping customers updated on the latest products in order to increase sales.
  • Meeting with managers in the organization to plan strategically.
  • Expanding the customer base by upselling and cross-selling.
  • Understanding key customer individual needs and addressing these.
  • Conducting business reviews using CRM programs.
  • Knowing your competition and strategizing accordingly
  • Develop and grow new and existing commercial relationships to identify business opportunities.

Qualifications And Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years in the security sector delivering solutions inside and/or outside client organisations
  • A minimum of 10 years operational experience in Africa and/or other complex operating environments
  • Prior experience of working within Oil and Gas, Mining diplomatic institutions and Government sectors a distinct advantage
  • Experience identifying and exploiting new business opportunities an advantage.

Experience developing and presenting commercial proposals to clients an advantage
