Financial Accountant  
Job Description:

1. Prepare all payment vouchers.

2.Post all transactions in the accounting system

3.Prepare fee notes and bill our clients for ongoing jobs and collect the payment in time

Get/obtain copies of all engagements entered by ABA
Bill in accordance with the Terms of billing in the Engagement letter
Keep analysis of all unbilled portions of the engagements
As part of monthly management reports, prepare:
Analysis of engagements entered during the month
New billings made in the month
Debtors’ balances per clients at the beginning of the month
Collection per client during the month
Debtors balance per client at the end of the months
Outstanding billing per engagement at every month end
4.Manage the petty cash

5.Manage the bank transactions including preparing the monthly bank reconciliations

6.Issue and manage staff imprests

7.Prepare payroll and manage the payroll related functions

8.Collect and manage the debtors

9.Prepare monthly management accounts

10.Prepare final financial statements

11.Prepare and file all statutory returns

12.Maintain the fixed asset register

13.Prepare journal vouchers for all transactions that goes in the system by way of JV

14.Manage and reconcile the related party transactions

15.Manage and reconcile the partners/directors current account

16.Collect all withholding tax certificates that we get deducted by clients

17.Manage and reconcile VAT account with the monthly returns

18.In collaboration with the Administration Department analyse the usage of stationary budget

19.Prepare quarterly and annual budget
