Roles & Responsibilities:
Operate 2nd Tier delivery vehicles:
•Legally operate company vehicles
•Checks trucks and trailers as per vehicle check list, including oil and water levels and records any damages, faults and reports such findings
Perform 2nd tier deliveries:
Deliver placed order orders as per the planned scheduled delivery route
Ensure that inventory reconciliations are as per order on departure and as per collection at Point of Contact (POC)
Ensure a SAFE, Healthy and Risk Free working environment
Adherence to DPO Safety Pillar working guidelines
Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
Communicating with dispatchers, drivers and other team members to make deliveries
Meeting delivery deadlines
Performing basic truck maintenance
Loading and unloading cargo Valid, endorsed Heavy Duty vehicle license
Qualifications & Requirements:
Certificate Of Secondary Education
Driving skills and good eye sight
Numerous and Literacy skills
Ability to use electronics/digital equipment
Supervisory skills
Driving License
Communication skills verbal and written with the ability to handle customer queries
