ANNOUNCEMENT OF JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Secretary of the Secretariat for Employment in the Public Service on behalf of the Office of the President-

Regional Administration and Local Government (PMO-RALG) welcomes job applications

from qualified and capable Tanzanians to fill two hundred and thirty vacancies

three (233) as specified in this notice;

1.0.1 ENGINEER II HIGHWAY - POSITION 07

1.0.2 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

i. He shall work under the supervision of an Engineer registered with the Registration Board

Engineers (Professional Engineer) to get the required experience;

ii. Conduct inspections of various roads, bridges and buildings;

iii. Investigate the sources of road accidents;

iv. Monitor the implementation of Laws and Regulations for the construction of roads and buildings;

v. Prepare an annual budget for the construction and maintenance of roads, bridges

and buildings;

vi. Supervise and coordinate the work of roads / bridges and buildings provided by

Contractors; and

viTo perform such other duties as may be assigned to him by his supervisor.
